Try some Morse Code with a laser stick and see if you get a response x

The only morse code I know is SOS, which would probably make things worse 😂

Just another mugging, stabbing, shooting incident I guess? ...wouldn't be a bad guess, would it?

Well, that was the sort of thing I was concerned about, yes, but I was hoping that someone would know something specific, rather than taking a guess, as the helicopter was hovering quite close to my house!

That's terrible, but I wouldn't have thought a helicopter would be involved.

The post doesn't say if the driver stopped after hitting the girl, but surely they must have done?

Just seen an update and the driver stopped so the helicopter wasn't looking for that car.

Just went to look, and the discussion had apparently been closed 12 minutes ago, don't know if for legal reasons, or if it had got nasty,  or for some other reason.

Hope the person hit will be ok, and I guess I will never know about the helicopter.

    • Miatta Fahnbulleh MP House Of Commons LONDON SW1A 0AA 185 Farringdon Road London EC1A 1AA www.royalmail.com Dear Ms Fahnbulleh Chadwick Road, LONDON SE15 4PY Thank you for your communication regarding mail deliveries to addresses on Chadwick Road. Delivering a reliable service is our top priority, and I am very sorry that your constituent has cause for concern. I am always disappointed when I hear that any of our customers do not feel that they are receiving the service that they ought to. Following your communication, I contacted the Customer Operations Manager at Peckham Delivery Office. They have advised me that there are no current issues with the delivery of mail to addresses on Chadwick Road. They have confirmed that mail deliveries are taking place six days a week, when there is mail available to be delivered, and I am assured that there is no mail currently awaiting delivery. If at any point a delivery round cannot be completed on a particular day, for example we may have a shortage of staff, the unit will ensure that the address will become the priority the following working day. I hope that this reply is helpful. As always if we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Yours sincerely Michael Hogg Senior Public Affairs Manager   This was the reply the MP sent me regarding lack of post.
    • Not according to the article I posted on the previous page!
    • That's lovely! Good for them!
    • You’ve taken the time to write quite a long post explaining why you think as you do. But as I pointed out earlier in the thread most young people look pretty much the same they tend to wear different clothes on different occasions and unless there’s something overwhelmingly stand out about their appearance such descriptions do not help  -  there’s probably about 25,000 teenagers within walking distance of the park. Any description could apply to many of them. The police have the descriptions leave it to them.  I hope you won’t stop going to the park, to reassure yourself go onto the Metropolitan police crime site and you’ll see that Peckham Rye Park is a very safe place to be.
