Hi everyone 🙂

I am a creative and fun nanny living in Lewisham/Blackheath, looking for a lovely family to join on Wednesdays & Thursdays. A bit about me:

I love being a nanny, have over 10 years of experience in childcare, and am confident working with and catering for the many physical and emotional needs of young babies as well as children of all ages. I've worked as a nanny and live-in Au Pair; in London, France, as well as teaching English in Italy. More recently I worked as a nanny for two families; a nanny share; with five children- all under 6. Most recently I worked 4 days a week for two lovely families with two adorable 1 yos; the parents of all of whom would be more than happy to give references. I'm currently still with the same family but their little one has gone to nursery, so am looking to replace the hours. Ideally looking for 30h roughly per week but am always happy to discuss options as each family is unique in their needs. I love being silly and getting creative with kids, doing lots of art, storytelling, trips to the park, singing etc!

I am fully DBS checked, and have my paediatric first aid certificate. I am musically trained, with Grade 8 on the Piano and Grade 6 on theTtrumpet. I write & perform music on the side, and am always incorporating music into my care duties; singing, playing games & music in the kitchen etc, as I strongly believe that music is a brilliant tool for life, and a way of connection, creatively enhancing the worlds of children of all ages and their development.

I am available for ad hoc babysits, and am looking to start at some time in July/August 2024.

Please feel free to contact me on here and I'll get back to you with my details, I'm looking for a lovely new family & fit!

    • As a result of the Horizon scandal it now seems very clear that the Post Office management are highly disingenuous and not be trusted!  There needs to be a campaign launched to challenge the threatened closure, unless the Post Office can demonstrate beyond doubt that the branch is loss making - and even then it could argued that better management could address this. I hope the local media take this up and our MP  and a few demonstrations outside wouldn’t do any harm. Bad publicity can be very effective!
    • Unlikely. It would take a little more than a bit of Milton to alter the pH of eighty-odd thousand gallons of water.
    • It actually feels as though what I said is being analytically analysed word by word, almost letter by better. I really don't believe that I should have to explain myself to the level it seems someone wants me to. Clearly someones been watching way too much Big Brother.
    • Sadly they don't do the full range of post office services
