We came for brunch today - food and drinks were delicious, staff were lovely and the decor and ambience very relaxing.

That's good news. I'm too impatient for next year's asparagus and need to eat it immediately whilst burning tonnes of diesel and killing the planet x

I must have passed by it a couple of times too early in the morning. The shutter was down and the menu on the wall gone. A case of 2+2 = 5 I suppose.

Very busy when  I've been in there but fast, great service and delicious food!

Another down-to-earth cafe with reasonable prices goes. I bet all the police officers and council workers miss it, I know my son and family used to love the full English breakfast when they came to visit us. But there are a couple of more places left - hey that's the glitzy world of ED!

True. Haven't been back in there since the last owners left. Too pricey now for a fry up and a fizzy drink is £3.50  but they'll get enough custom to keep them going,

The old café has closed. the new café is open.
