SpringTime
That's good news. I'm too impatient for next year's asparagus and need to eat it immediately whilst burning tonnes of diesel and killing the planet x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/347704-love-dulwich-bistro-new-cafebistro-89-lordship-lane/#findComment-1680227 Share on other sites

i*Rate
Another down-to-earth cafe with reasonable prices goes. I bet all the police officers and council workers miss it, I know my son and family used to love the full English breakfast when they came to visit us. But there are a couple of more places left - hey that's the glitzy world of ED! Cocktails all round! 2 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/347704-love-dulwich-bistro-new-cafebistro-89-lordship-lane/#findComment-1681544 Share on other sites

Haven't been back in there since the last owners left. Too pricey now for a fry up and a fizzy drink is £3.50 but they'll get enough custom to keep them going, Edited October 1 by Dulwich dweller mistake Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/347704-love-dulwich-bistro-new-cafebistro-89-lordship-lane/#findComment-1681682 Share on other sites

megalaki84
Because 3 people, coming from different areas of London, ate at the same place and then split up. All got sick. Can only be from Love I'm not disputing that you all got sick, but you all ate the same thing? And it was diagnosed as food poisoning? Rather than something catching which one of you could have transmitted to the other two? Because it seems odd that a newly opened eating place would not be right on top of food hygiene regulations. Did you tell Love about this? And/or did you report it to the public health people so that it could be investigated? If you did, what was the outcome? If you didn't, it seems unfair to be posting things on here which could affect their reputation, especially when they have only recently opened Edited October 2 by Sue 3 2 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/347704-love-dulwich-bistro-new-cafebistro-89-lordship-lane/#findComment-1681821 Share on other sites

Can only be from Love Hello Megalaki84 , have you spoken to the restaurant about this the restaurant has never had this issue occur especially with 3 people at the same time i would be keen to see a health report based on this also if you can tell me date time you had come in and i can investigate this on your behalf as we have cameras in the kitchen to inspect our staff , our products are all labelled and thrown if out of date products especially when we have just recently been inspected by health and safety and have had 5 star rated. i am not disputing that you have had food poisoning but its very unlikely this had been from us however i will be investigating this as a matter of duty as this is the last thing we want. we have had thousands of customers and have no issues please feel free to direct message me details. thanks, hakeem On 02/10/2024 at 18:07, alice said: Southwark has awarded them five stars. that’s the highest possible hygiene rating in August this year. Sue
As megalaki84 never posted again with anything to substantiate their allegations, I think we can probably assume that they didn't actually get food poisoning from Love 1 2 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/347704-love-dulwich-bistro-new-cafebistro-89-lordship-lane/#findComment-1685942 Share on other sites
