    • Avoid Tessa Jowlett at all costs. The GPs are great if you see one. Which I have once.  But they seem to be overwhelmed with too many patients registered and no staff to deal with the need.  The website ask my GP doesn't work most the of the time.  The phones are not being answered and pressing 1  never gets you a call back.   Which is a shame as some staff do try their very best to help you but the system is just so overloaded and it seems like a recipe to force everyone to go private.  Such a shame as the building is very well designed. Just not functional.  Always call 111. Is my advice now.
    • I've been through a lot of different types of earplugs, these are the ones I found the most comfortable and block the most noise at night, and they last ages. https://www.amazon.co.uk/4Pairs-Plugs-Sleeping-Noise-Cancelling/dp/B07ZSZQD22 I also have noise cancelling headphones, they are amazing and can go in ambient or noise cancelling mode. Yes they were expensive. Unlike most people here, since the noise started 5 years ago I've never gotten used to the intermittent ambient low pitched hum in the shared building I live in, hence the need for earplugs and NC headphones. I made a noise complaint once but it was during Covid so the bloke couldn't come in. He brushed it off saying that because nothing was broken or sounding like a revving motorbike he could do nothing about it. My two penn'orth.
