Emma McGowan
Hi there - I'm very keen to find a bedlington Whippet puppy but they are so hard to find. I see a lot of them locally if anyone has any contacts that would be great. sydenham_interloper
Hi Emma, If you would take an adult dog, Norfolk Greyhound Rescue would probably like to hear from you. As per their Facebook feed five days ago, they have (or had) a 2.5 year old male Bedlington/Whippet by name of Raymond in need of a home due to his family relocating to New Zealand. Seems like a nice dog from the description and at that age you would be spared the manic puppy biting stage! The link below should take you to the photo and description NGR posted on the Facebook page. For some reason they aren't showing the dog on their own website, https://www.norfolkgreyhoundrescue.co.uk I just saw in the responses to the photo that someone else says they have applied for him, so that may be because he got adopted out almost as soon as he arrived. But still worth an enquiry? https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=860971216058520&set=a.457408003081512 There are quite a lot of specialist greyhound/lurcher rehoming charities. Kent Greyhound Rescue are very active on Facebook, and handily close to SE London. Good luck with it, Peter Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/347193-bedlington-whippet-pup-wanted/#findComment-1670840 Share on other sites
