Comedy at the Ivy House??

Recently moved to the area and wondering if anyones been to the comedy nights at the Ivy House pub (fortnightly i think?), on Stuart Rd, just behind Peckham Rye Park?

Looks like one of the few 'locals' in this part of the world thats not been gastrofied yet!

Is that a good or a bad thing?!

I live round the corner and pop in from time to time. I've never been in the backroom for pool or a music/comedy night but I hear they can be good. I don't mind it in there and they stick the football on. It's a community boozer really lots of locals and pretty friendly.

I posted a similar enquiry regarding The Pull The Other One night at the Ivy. I went to the first 3 and really enjoyed them but due to penury havent been in a while...is it still running?
