Southwark owns it. It's leased to some guy from Orpington or something. They have tried to run a bar, restaurant, Uber Eats dark kitchen, nightclub for one off events...but never quite committing to one of them or being very successful. Some of the nightclub nights are a shambles: booze bottles all over the pavements, screaming and yelling, dickheads racing cars. I didn't know they were doing swingers nights - obviously I don't move in the right circles to get an invitation... 😞 It's odd that no-one has been able to make a real go of it in recent years. It should be a great space - a country manor feel in the centre of London overlooking a park? But the forecourt is a bit shabby. -
It was a specific technical comment re the wording of the questionnaire and its likely effect on the results. It was of no concern to anybody else. I posted saying that I had PMed because people don't necessarily see that someone has sent a PM. I thought it was important to feed it back given that the questionnaire was part of someone's major project. But I'm not sure why you seem to have taken this so personally! It has absolutely nothing to do with you! -
Who owns/runs this place? They certainly seem to be holding some very strange events there. I thought it was still 1 April for a minute 😮

Meantime, pushing this development through allows Cllr McAsh and the Council the opportunity to spin 'positive' numbers and data, to show they are meeting the council and Labour's new housing targets.
