Summer Choir?

Recommended Posts

I know a lot of choirs break up for the summer, I am thinking of running a choir for those that are missing their weekly warble fix. Obviously this requires some work, what would the level of interest be? I am thinking Monday or wednesday evenings.  I have directed a number of choirs and community music projects, including The National Theatre Choir, Goose Green Community Choir, Sydenham community choir, The Telegraph choir...  I also run my own lunchtime singing group and evening online choir 'Sing Eazy'. Here is a little more about my professional history, should it be useful. https://eazypeazymusic.com/dan-maitland-artist-biography-and-links/

Please reply here if you are interested, failing that enjoy your break and the eventual sunshine!

A lot of choirs break up for the summer because a lot of people are away. So maybe that is why there hasn't (so far) been a lot of interest on here?

We don't run gigs in July and August for that reason.

Though having said that, we have found our Singarounds are usually well attended over the summer months, which is strange!
