That's why you do so well. I let my head rule in games that don't involve certain teams, but there are two teams (Everton & Swans) that I just have to predict wins for regardless of who they are playing and a few other teams (Palace, Chelsea,Spurs & Man U) who I rarely predict to lose.

If any of them play each other I just go 0-0 as I can't pick one over the other.

I think it's because I have a TFL fantasy team, made up of all players from the above teams. They are all good so I have faith in predicting a win. Heart just takes over!

AqM, the EDF Fantasy League is run by the Premier League, which has a different, more complicated points system to the Telegraph's. I played the Tele one for years, and it's taken me a year or so just to get used to the nuances of the PL's one. Only found out this season that there's a joker you can play for free transfers.

RC, agree about catching the leader, going to be very difficult, I have a good week and so do they. I think at this time of the season most players have similar teams. Perhaps the only way to close the gap might be to go a bit leftfield with choice of players...

    • Labour was right not to increase fuel duty - it's not just motorists it affects, but goods transport. Fuel goes up, inflation goes up. Inflation will go up now anyway, and growth will stagnate, because businesses will pass the employee NIC hikes onto customers.  I think farms should be exempt from the 20% IHT. I don't know any rich famers, only ones who work their fingers to the bone. But it's in their blood and taking that, often multi-generation, legacy out of the family is heart-breaking. Many work to such low yields, and yet they'll often still bring a lamb to the vet, even if the fees are more than the lamb's life (or death) is worth. Food security should be made a top priority in this country. And, even tho the tax is only for farms over £1m, that's probably not much when you add it all up. I think every incentive should be given to young people who want to take up the mantle.
