Almost a third of the way through the season and RC is comfortably holding onto his early lead, and also flying the flag for the EDF with 10th place overall, 11 points behind the leaders. 👏

Another international break, back in just over a weeks time...

    • Hello,  I'm looking for some advice please.  I have an old TV, which I have tried to rehome, but no-one seems to want it, fair, as it's not a smart tv. But I'm now looking at how to dispose of it? I've contacted a charity to collect but they haven't got back to me. It's too big for the WEE recycling bins and I don't have a car to get to the tip with it. Southwark want £35 to collect it, which seems very extreme.  Does anyone have another suggestion that I haven't thought of please?  Many Thanks, Natalie
    • I think the feedback from Drs in the past is that they have felt under a lot of pressure to prescribe antibiotics even when it’s pretty certain that the patient has a virus. My own family members have been prescribed antibiotics in cases like that - not in ED tho. However I am reassured by your kind explanation that pharmacists are highly trained and that antibiotic resistance is well within their area of expertise. Anyway, i assume this new approach to antibiotics was all very carefully thought through, widely consulted upon, and any unintended consequences carefully considered. I assume they looked at all the relevant data like whether antibiotics resistance is rising faster in markets where access is easier. And so on. I assume. Though as you suggest, we shouldn’t just assume things.
    • As a slight aside, I used to understand how CHAPS and cheque clearing worked in late 1980s.  As a demo i asked gemini.google.com to make some obviously spoof cheques (eg Bank of toytown, Totally Stupid bank)...  They refused - looks tike a fraud attempt So I will abstract the problem and ask for a "mail merge" into a PDF or SVG (scalable vector graphics. Which is probably doable in lots of way.
    • Bad parking, 3 point turns in front of the school, aggressive behavior, kids literally being hit by cars, before the restrictions were introduced, is the reason why.
