For sale: Handmade plywood cabin bed

Recommended Posts

£675

Beautiful solid plywood cabin bed, handmade by my husband for our son when he was aged 7. Very good condition

Dimensions: 211L x 131W x 188H (to very top of the side frames) or 145H underneath the bed

Fits a standard single mattress with storage space for books alongside the mattress, or a small double mattress will fill the whole width of the bed (mattress pictured not for sale)

Underneath is a desk and bench seat with plenty of space for storage of toys (cushion pictured not for sale)

Climbing holds add to the adventure of climbing up into bed, and comes with a ladder which can be affixed to the wall for easy descent

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
