Hello! We are Ignite Hubs, a local education charity based in Peckham for children and young people. Our mission is to ignite the potential of young minds by equipping them with the skills, connections and experiences to access career-related learning opportunities. We currently offer remote and in-person classes in libraries across Southwark that cover coding, STEM, and creative writing. We are delighted to have a charity place for the London Marathon, and we’re looking for a runner who shares our passion for improving educational opportunities for children and young people. The family may of course donate to a charity of their choice. The fundraiser will remain open, there is no way of closing it early and it was started before I was made aware the family had said they only wanted prayers... I know them fairly well so am hoping they accept the funds for Akif's children in good faith. They can always put savings aside and I'm hopeful the children will learn how well liked Akif was locally. Thanks and please let's avoid further comment.
