The only place you are likely to come across trouble in ED would be outside the pubs on the bottom bit of Lordship Lane on a Friday with all and sundry all stellad up and spilling out onto the pavements.

Even then it is unlikely.

You will only get trouble in the Le Bastille if you do something like insult one of the regulars.

I was told that the Magdala used to be very reliable for a "proper punch up" (vis - manly, square-go, fisticuffs) of a Saturday night, but sadly those days are long gone now - along with the glasses stacked 15 deep along the bar, the carpet and the velour seating. Shame.

Nowadays it's full of idiots with MacBook Pros WFP and watching the cricket, I hear.

    • Sorry Jazzer, not a Q for me but I would plant lots and lots of trees and turn it into green soace - no dogs
    • Can you share your ideas for the site, please? So the residents can have an idea of what your ideas/plans consist of.
    • I would turn it into a green space. Having Dulwich Park nearby is not an excuse. Why should residents of Dulwich Village, having Dulwich Junction closed and refurbished multiple times (no end to this btw cause the Southwark council apparently has millions to waste) have it and people on Lordship Lane and A25 (South Circular) ? People living in the area have to put up with very high level of: air pollution noise anti social behaviour. How about transferring the skate park from the Grove Tavern parking  to Dulwich Village?
    • TLC Direct in Penge do them.
