I have been in and liked it a lot. Nice food, well presented, attentive service. 👍

Just walked past this place opposite Dulwich Library today - I'd missed it opening up. Looks like a nice little space, they're doing art club stuff for kids in the holidays.

Love Dulwich is excellent. Been in for breakfast a couple of times.

Do we really need another wine shop?...

But better than another empty shop 🙂

PS As teddyboy says various bits of detective work; asking other shop, asking builders.  council website isn't the easiest to search.

Planet of the Grapes wine bar and shop is open as of a few days ago. Its in the premises behind Bon on Frogley Street, formally occupied by Forest. Good luck to them.

walked past this on the weekend and it looks really nice - the seating area is by the doors so works well with the space. Think it will be a good addition.

Looks like there is a new opening at the Dulwich Park end of Lordship Lane, on the stretch of shops opposite the Grove Tavern. It's next to the curryhouse (Spice Republic) and called HNR. Any ideas what it could be? That stretch could do with a bit of sprucing up!

What will replace Vits n Kix on NXR?

It always seems very dark in there during the day, hopefully their new place will be a bit brighter!

The old Willow premises is still looking very forlorn.

Tbh the dark interior of Vits and Kix is the reason I've never been in (though the food/drink offering seems appealing on paper) the very dark interior and neon sign feels a bit gimmicky and nightclubby to me,

I don't want to eat in a cocktail bar I want to drink cocktails in one.

    • Glad your hound is recovering, what a nightmare. Any description of the owner would be useful in consideration that the he/she would appear uninterested in stepping forward on this occasion so may be equally uninterested in the community’s welfare when they get replacement dangerous dog(s). Forewarned is forearmed (to a limited extent under these horrible circumstances).
    • Totally bizarre narratives being pushed on this thread: student accommodation shouldn't be allowed because there aren't any universities nearby (news flash: London students commute like everyone else) and because only affordable housing should ever be built (news flash: that's not going to happen). This is a little sliver of land on an industrial site over a transport link. If we don't let student housing get built here, it's just not going to get developed. Right now it is housing no-one.
