Exterior Design Gardens - Oliver/Oli Hawkins (aka son of Gardenman)

Recommended Posts

In March Oli and his team did an excellent job of the following work at a property I manage.

1. Completely removing existing broken front path. Covering and securing the void (coal shute) beneath using concrete lintels, waterproof membrane and concrete. Laying a compacted sub-base and new clay pavers.

2. Removing broken fence. Securely installing 6 fence posts and 5 fence panels across the end of the back garden. Base of posts wrapped in plastic  sheath and set in post mix.

3. Removing broken render from terrace steps and cleaning then re-rendering steps where needed and repairing other parts.

4. Jet washing rear patio.

I would like to thoroughly recommend him to you for a job done very well at a fair price.

Just realised that Nigel Hawkins (Gardenman on this forum) is Oli’s father who he worked/works alongside.

Illegal killing of animals that take game happens in rural areas but that is a different issue  Did you report the dumping of the meat to environmental health and the police? By all means speculate, I expect that it was fly tipping.  Where it came from and why is athe question.... Foxes have great digestive systems and will eat most foodstuffs.
    • Thank you to Saied who completed a revamp of our very neglected garden with amazing results. The ground required extensive preparation and the project was completed in very good time. Saied kept us informed with written reports and photos each day. If you have a run away garden, Saied is the person to contact!
    • I made the mistake last Autumn of having my Covid booster and Flu jab in the same arm at the same time.  The pharmacist said it would be ok!  During the night I felt really sick and got up and sat on the side of the bed. Next thing I knew, I was waking up on the floor.  Frightened the life out of my husband!  Took him a couple of hours to get me off of the floor and back into bed.  Spent the next couple of days in bed recovering. I won't be making that mistake again!
    • JandaDiner is on Rye Lane in Peckham - 191 Rye Ln (near to Choumert Road). It's really really good - quite unique and exciting Malaysian food - not a cheap meal, but worth it in my view
