UncleBen
Can't believe I missed this! Am sure eggs have a best before date anyway so that changes matters? Shouty showboat? showboat
Best-Before is a recommendation only from the manufacturer as to when the food is (obviously) going to be at it's best - it is not a requirement to cease selling or consuming it after that date - though any sensible shop will not do so, and EHO's assume individuals use good judgement at home.Use-By is a legal requirement where shops are concerned. Consumers are advised to use their best judgement when eating or drinking items that are past the Use-By date, and show careful consideration; meat, eggs and vegetables are hardier than fish, and manufacturers often place extremely cautious Use-By dates on food as they are aware many people will consume it after that time. The relevant legal details...https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/69316/pb132629-food-date-labelling-110915.pdf Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/34408-sainsburys-eggs-cruciating-experience/page/3/#findComment-663260 Share on other sites

missse22
Your welcome Buddug! How did ur little drink up go?! If I didn't have kids I would have come along too, although I don't drink alcohol so mine would have been a red bull!! When I start coaching again you will have to come to my classes StraferJack, we can do a whole session sparring, and you can partner up with me, I'll even just use my jab lol Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/34408-sainsburys-eggs-cruciating-experience/page/3/#findComment-663409 Share on other sites
buddug
Drinks went splendidly! He's a great guy - we had a lot in common, as do most of us humans, lets face it. I'm as guilty as the next person when pontificating on the internet. I took a lot about myself away tonight and it restored my faith in human nature. It was good. And to be honest StraferJack doesn't need coaching any more than I do. Or maybe we all do?! But what kind of coaching do you do? Are you a counsellor? And what's this jab?
