Couple seeking 1-2 bed with garden

Hello,

We're a professional couple both working in film and TV (and other part time gigs) and our landlord is sadly selling the flat we've called home since the pandemic. We've already had a look at a couple of lovely flats but we have a bit of time to look around and we are really interested in renting from wonderful people and finding a home that we can really call our own. We're looking for long term rent, we'd rather not have to move again until we've actually bought our first home, so it would be a few years and we would plan to treat wherever we live as our long term home (ie - very well!).

We're looking at around £1500-1750 pcm not including bills (or we can consider a higher rate if bills are included, and there's of course some flexibility) and we have furniture of our own, so we're looking for unfurnished or part furnished. We have regular, stable income and we also have a guarantor for additional security on your end. At the price point we'd expect that only 1 beds are realistic but if there's a 2 bed then that would of course be incredible. We don't have too many needs beyond some outside space.

We're very nice and keep to ourselves with a few get togethers through the year, and we do come with a couple of lovely pets - a very friendly and charming small dog and a tiny, very quiet cat who acts as free pest control. We're also non smokers. We love film and cooking and being integrated in our community. We'd be good tenants for people who have moved and decided not to sell their previous home, landlords looking for long-term renters, and those transitioning from airbnb to letting.

Feel free to privately message me or comment and I'll give you my number for a call. We're pretty flexible on move-in dates, as we'd rather find the right place than a quick place. So also feel free to contact us if you're looking to start renting in a few months, for example.

    • I live in a flat conversion and we had also the water meters installed, last year. However, TW workers did not check properly which meter belongs to each flat and they connected us incorrectly. My meter was connected to 2 flats so my usage was unusually high and I had usage when I was away from home. We had to call TW to come out and amend the meters which was a pain to do.  Maybe you need to check with TW if you are connected correctly and not to other properties. You can also see your usage online.
