Pickle
I hope she is ok, and finds the help she needs to get herself into a better state of mind.As someone who recently lost a family member to suicide, I would give anything to have had the chance to offer help after a failed attempt. I hope she has the support of family and friends to help her, and my thoughts are with all involved.
first mate
I think for someone to take an action as extreme as this is absolutely intent on ending their life and almost certainly would not have expected to survive. The degree of anguish this woman must be in to have done what she did is probably and thankfully beyond the understanding of most of us. I hope that she and her family get all the help they need. I also hope that the driver and witnesses get plenty of support and understanding.

Saffron
I think it's a fair question if anyone is missing a loved one, but I hope people would have the presence of mind to only post personal details in a PM, and recipient not to repost details publicly without good reason. sb2010
I would like to share information about the brilliant charity PAPYRUS - for the prevention of young suicide. They believe, as I do, that many young suicides are preventable.Suicide is the biggest killer of young people (under 35years old) in the UK. And the statistics do not tell the whole story as many suicides are not recorded as such. Please check out their website/ facebook page/ twitter etc and pass on the word...... PAPYRUS campaign, provide training and have a helpline. They intervene to prevent suicide - and are doing a fantastic job. http://www.papyrus-uk.org/https://www.facebook.com/PAPYRUSUKConfidential Young Suicide Prevention Advice:HOPELineUK 0800 068 41 41email: [email protected]SMS: 07786 209697
