Required: Dog walker / Regular dog/house sitter

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone

I am looking for superb recommendations for a dog walker / dog sitter.

I know the usual route for dog walkers and sitters is  Rover, but a change in personal circumstances here means I am now looking for someone to house and dog sit (with an overnight) for two consecutive days per week on a regular basis, and I know the EDF is great for all kinds of other recommendations.  I am very open to either someone staying in my place when I am away or for my dog, Toby, a 3.5 year-old neutered Airedale terrier to stay at theirs (as long as there is no more than one other dog).  I am looking for a long-term permanent solution, so obviously very keen to find the absolute best and most perfect solution for my boy.

Thanks very much

Best

Phil

    • County Court proceedings should be able to be handled without legal advice.  There should be guidance from the courts service about what to do if you have a summons served on you -  EX303. If you defend it then you will no doubt have good reason to do so which  district judge will consider.  Six years sounds a long time ago and I am surprised that you could still be liable after this time.  Citizens Advice will help, you will have to queue in person or on the phone as they are not as well resourced as in the past.  Law Centres may be able to help too. https://waterlooactioncentre.co.uk/

And then, over time, he began to hate everything." "Ha, ha, ha... my sadness? What do I have to be sad about? I am the chosen one. I have been chosen to be the leader of this Planet. I have orders to take this planet back from you stupid people for the Cetra. What am I supposed to be sad about?"
    • We went there yesterday for lunch, which was really delicious and excellent value. A starter plus a main is £11.95 for their "lunchtime special". Just a main is £8.95. We had excellent gyozas to start, then I had pad thai and my partner had a stir fry, both with tofu. They were large helpings,  freshly cooked, with fresh veg. There is the option to have chicken or beef (prawns are £2 extra) Also they now have Thai beer (Singha) on draught or in bottles (previously it was being your own alcohol). The service was also good. We were sorry and surprised not to see more people in there, particularly as there was a match on. It is really worth the short walk from Lordship Lane!
