This Victorian deep buttoned nursing chair has been fully restored using all traditional methods, including reusing the washed original horse hair. The base is sprung, the velvet grey top fabric is 100% cotton, and the back and base give a surprise glimpsed flash of colour with the Designers Guild velvet stripe. The front legs are nicely turned, and all four legs have the original castors. The upholstery meets current fine safety standards.
