On bank holiday in the evening the day  after Christmas I drove through Townley Road at the junction of carlton avenue northbound  and was issued with a parking fine. The council has set a trap to catch a rat. Motorist I would like you all to look into this, we should come together to take the council to  court become they are abusing the Motorists to clear their debts. They have a sign coming from Dulwich to turn left into that road and it says bus and taxi only  plus the time you can go through that road. I have been there before and didn't get a ticket now was issued one. I want everyone to look into this for me. The sign has  the time when you can go through there bus says only buses and taxis why don't they put the correct sign because loads of Motorists are receving tickets.

Exactly same thing happened to me previous year on Boxing Day. I talked to a councillor and asked why restrictions couldn't be lifted during school holidays when traffic was clearly lighter. He said too complicated as schools had different holidays. I mentioned that, as far as i knew, all schools were closed on Boxing Day so why issue fines on Boxing Day. No reply after that.

    • Hello all, I started a post "PARCEL THEFT - White man on Lime bike, knitted hat (Goose Green - Peckham / Dulwich side roads) not knowing this thread was here. Could those who are able to post any pictures they have of the thief?  Amazon are not meant to ignore your delivery instructions, so ask for compensation as well as a refund if it happens. Evri do nothing but confirmed parcels are not meant to be left outside.  Ps. I filled a parcel with food scraps & brown bin stuff then topped it with shredded paper so they'd have to dig through.
