Have you seen big Ginger?

He normally hangs around the Upland, Barry, Hindmans roads area and has been missing since the begining of the weekend.

He has mobility issues with his front paw and one of our neighbours is looking for him.IMG-20240122-WA0000.thumb.jpg.0f3197350bd560cda95fd233885cf08b.jpg

My team & I have been trying to capture this cat for a very long time. He needs to be checked out by a vet. Please, if your neighbour has not reached out to Celia Hammond already, inform them that this cat needs to be collected for a thorough check-up & neutering. He is in a shocking state, poor guy. This picture really masks the severity of his injuries.

Feel free to contact us at [email protected] if there's any way we can help.

- The Wingless Bird.

When did you and your 'team' last see him?  I hope you haven't frightened him away from an area that he feels safe in.  I have just heard that he has turned up at his "safe house".  Please don't try to catch him again as he has people looking out for him and is under the Neighbourhood Vet.

  • Dub Dub and Away changed the title to Now found : Ginger cat Upland Road / Barry road area

I was informed that Ginger arrived home safe and well overnight last night.

TWB, as Mystic Mog said Ginger is being well looked after by his owner and the Neighbour hood vet and is old with arthritis so please don't just capture him and whisk him off without talking to his owner first.

The amount of brazen shoplifting that goes on is appalling.  The police do nothing about it  we just pay the cost in our own shopping bills.   Gun crime is also very problematic after the recent early release of some very bad people. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/gun-crime-london-ladbroke-grove-shootings-chris-kaba-kensington-chelsea-gangs-b1196552.html

    • These figures are of course shocking but are restricted to London and the UK. Without the context of like for like statistics for other global cities they do not provide evidence for your assertion that
    • I think it's possible to view several of the mistakes labour has made as "not good" without it equalling a disaster I know there is a narrative out there that this will play into Reform hands - but  you would have to look at all of the major issues and think Reform would do a better job. No sane person could think that.  And then there is the obvious problem with Farage - people don't like him. Oh I know in some heartlands he has a big enough core - but the country as a whole? Nah I think labour are being clumsy in some areas, wrong in others, deeply dissapointing in some cases - and yet even before they were elected I knew most of this was likely - just because of the  size of the problems facing the country  (and I still reckon most people haven't quite grasped how bad things are after 14 years)  coupled with the fact that labour talent pool is  mid-table at best, compared with New Labour years.  All still HUGELY more desirable than what we have had previously tho
