I just wanted to recommend Creative Contracts Ltd- a local damp proofing company.

We had damp around our Victorian front bay window that needed proofing. James was able to quickly drop round to advise and quote for the work.

James and his brother were knowledgeable and carried out the damp-proofing to our bay window - including building out a new french drain in front garden very efficiently. The price was fair and they were very polite and nice to have around. His communication was great throughout and he even came back to check on something and remedy a small piece of pealing plaster 2 months later- free of charge.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Email: [email protected] or https://www.creativecontracts.org.uk/waterproofing

    • This is probably a stupid question, sorry. Could you contact all the surgeries whose catchment area you are in (and haven't already found wanting) and ask them directly if they have GPs with the knowledge and experience you need? Because I imagine there are not many people using this forum who can help, though I may be wrong.
    • I don't understand this, probably my fault. I thought the Crown offices were going to close completely and the  services they provided were going to be moved to local shops with space for a sub post office. But if the Post Office is  seeking franchisees for the Crown offices, that implies that the offices themselves would stay. But if they are not profitable for the Post Office, how could they become profitable for a franchisee?
    • I mean... the name alone is a bit of a red flag
    • Hi all, if you see this “charity” We R Blighty, who collect for homeless veterans, do not give them money. I saw them outside M&S on Lordship Lane this week. They are under investigation by Kent police, they do not donate the majority of your money, rather they pocket up to 60%.  Article from iNews
