High pitched noise

Has anyone else heard an ear piercing high pitch sound in the middle of the night around the estates next to Sainsbury’s Dog Kennel Hill 

It’s happened in the early hours over the last couple of weeks, which is impossible to sleep through 

This morning it started at 5am and proceeded on and off through out the day, which is more than usual 

Does anyone know what this is?

The sound is electronic, it’s very distinct

If you search for high pitched noise in forum you'll find a post I made a few years back.  likely a faulty boiler!
