Singing Teacher with availability in East Dulwich

Hello!

I'm an experienced singing teacher and professional singer with a few available spaces for children and adults who would like to take singing lessons.  My students range from beginners to children sitting singing exams and professional singers and actors.  Whatever you might have been told about your voice when you were younger very few people 'cannot sing' at all!  Sometimes it's a matter of learning to listen first but real tone deafness is very rare.  At whatever your level singing is great for improving mood and confidence and it's really good fun.  I teach in my studio and usually do a mix of fifty-fifty technical exercises (posture, breath control and developing tone and vocal stamina) and exploring songs.  If you think you would like to give singing a try or are looking for regular lessons then I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Tara

I'm pretty flexible on days and times as I work from home teaching one to one. I usually have school children between 4.30pm and 6pm, and adults in the daytime or early evening.  I tend to book last lessons at 7pm in the evening if possible.  I also have some availability at the weekend for children and adults.  I charge £45ph, pro rata for children, who generally come along for 45 mins, adults have a one hour lesson.  Parents are welcome to come along if children are young but sit outside the teaching space which has glass doors.

Any other info you might need?

Thanks.

Sarah

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
