NYE - best park for fireworks etc

Hi there - we are 4 adults, 4 kids, looking for somewhere outdoors to be at midnight on NYE. Bonus points for good view of fireworks, and if it’s fairly popular - would be more fun if we’re not the only ones! Ruskin Park? One Tree Hill? Somewhere else? Thanks!

Dawsons Hill...wins by a country mile...on a clear night you can see all of London's fireworks (including the Thames display) and every year a few hundred people gather to take it all in.

No, really not. Everything is so far away it all looks tiny. And it is definitely not child friendly.  Lots of older chaos, fireworks thrown around, it was quite scary

Ooh thanks both - good tips. Kids are 6yo and 8yo - they would be up for a bit of a party I think, so maybe Dawson Hill would be fine - sounds fun with a big crowd

We've been taking ours there since they were little and it is nice, although watch out for slippery mud underfoot!
