I am having a clear-out and getting rid of my collection of French literature. Sadly, I won’t read it any more. There are 20 classic French texts (mix of novels and poetry, most in French along with a couple of translations) and several study guides (in English). I would love to give these to someone who is studying French at uni.

  Santander only allow you to scan a cheque under£1000. And believe me there are still people around Dulwich who pay for services by cheque.

  And just by coincidence I tried to scan the cheques in to my account today but the app wouldn't scan so my bank told me I would have to go to a branch or to the post office as they couldn't work out what the problem was. Hah!
