firkinboo
Have you sprained your ankle, or injured your foot or ankle in some other way? If so, this thing is a god send. My wife broke her foot in May, and is still limping. Without this thing, we would have had to cancel all our plans for the last 6 months, as she was in a boot, and on crutches, and unable to manage more than very short distances by herself. Then we got this, in America, and it has been fantastic. She was able to scoot around all kind of places that would have been impossible on crutches, because too tiring. With this, she managed several days out in London, a visit to Hadrians wall, flying to Miami, two weddings, numerous other days out. We have only seen one other in use in London. Basically you kneel on it and scoot along using your good leg (look it up). You can also sit on it, and it takes no effort at all for someone else to push it along on smooth flooring (airports, supermarkets, shops etc.), even normal pavements it is fine. Only problem is uneven ground, cobblestones etc., then no good. I wish I had known about these when I sprained my own ankle! This one is a bit bashed, and we have lost the panier, but basically works fine, and ready to change someone else’s life for the better. £20 pick up Forest Hill 07972368261 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/334710-sprained-ankle-etc-you-need-a-knee-scooter/ Share on other sites
