Where can you recycle plant pots - plastic as well as clay? Have a few to get rid of. Thanks.

Dear Shaila, please leave them outside your front gate for a day, you might find a grateful gardener picks them up.

I have just discovered the amazing Southwark Recycling centre on Devon Street, SE15 (off Old Kent Road): can recycle all manner of things, from clothes, to plastics (such as plant pots), to books and CDs. If you can drive over (you just drive straight in to the centre and drop off) I'd definitely recommend it.

I gave loads of mine to a local school a few year back.

I'd be really interested in clay plant pots, if they are near enough to pick up by foot that is :)
