Hi Ladies,

I hope you don't mind me crashing your thread, however, I am investigating setting up a regular coffee morning for Mums who have either had hypnobirths and would like to share their experience or Mums that are interested in hypnobirthing, but would like to find out more from women (aside from me) who have had a great experiences. If you could PM or drop me a line at [email protected], if this is something you might be interested in that would be great. Not that we need one, but I thought it might be another great excuse for a regular cup of tea and a biscuit for those who enjoy sharing their positive birth experiences.

What a shame, I can't make either date for the meet ups. Hopefully they will be another before I'm due in December!

@Suzyrocker

Yes, I would be interested on a coffee morning to hear about hypnobirthing. I'm a second time mum looking to improve on my failed induction ending in c-section first time round. It would be great to hear any positive birth experiences and how hypnobirthing could help me this time!

Hi,

I'm still OK for Saturday 28th. 6th Oct I start my hypnobirthing course. A further meet up maybe late Nov would be good once people have started their prenatal and other classes to share tips, pointers and concerns.

@CocoC - have you managed to keep a tally of who can do which dates in case you definitely can't do 28th? It will be cutting it fine timewise to prepare for dinner.

Hello hello

@Privatebanking -have gone back through the thread and I think it was just you, me and RCM who were definites for the 28th - eagleeyedi could make either one, then we have about 9 or 10 confirmed for the 6th.

Haven't heard from eagleeyedi, but RCM can still make if you guys want to PM? Yes, I think I will need to bow out (as I'm by no means a naturally gifted cook!) so will see the rest of you on the 6th, then agree Privatebanking that a further meet up would be lovely!

Hello everyone. My friend has told me how great these clubs are so I would love to join everyone in this group. I'm due 30th January and very excited, it's my first. It would be great to meet some people in the area. Unfortunately all NCT classes were booked up so we are going to mid wife led classes in January at the clock house pub. We are also doing a hypnobirthing course in November in Dulwich with Hollie. Is anyone going to any of these? Hope everyone is well and enjoying their pregnancy :) Emily

Hi just dropping in to say I am definitely going to come along tomorrow, and looking forward to meeting some of you.

I was wondering how I would know who is from the winter babies club, but figured I would just go up to any ladies with a bump in Chandelier :) LOL

See you tomorrow

Caz

Hi Ladies

I am not going to make it today - combination of son #1 deciding that 1am is a good time to get up, and son #2 (to be) giving me acid reflux has left me feeling wiped out today. I hope you have a lovely afternoon tea and I'll try and make it to the next meet up.

    • He did mention it's share of freehold, I’d be very cautious with that. It can turn into a nightmare if relationships with neighbours break down. My brother had a share of freehold in a flat in West Hampstead, and when he needed to sell, the neighbour refused to sign the transfer of the freehold. What followed was over two years of legal battles, spiralling costs and constant stress. He lost several potential buyers, and the whole sale fell through just as he got a job offer in another city. It was a complete disaster. The neighbour was stubborn and uncooperative, doing everything they could to delay the process. It ended in legal deadlock, and there was very little anyone could do without their cooperation. At that point, the TA6 form becomes the least of your worries; it’s the TR1 form that matters. Without the other freeholder’s signature on that, you’re stuck. After seeing what my brother went through, I’d never touch a share of freehold again. When things go wrong, they can go really wrong. If you have a share of freehold, you need a respectful and reasonable relationship with the others involved; otherwise, it can be costly, stressful and exhausting. Sounds like these neighbours can’t be reasoned with. There’s really no coming back from something like this unless they genuinely apologise and replace the trees and plants they ruined. One small consolation is that people who behave like this are usually miserable behind closed doors. If they were truly happy, they’d just get on with their lives instead of trying to make other people’s lives difficult. And the irony is, they’re being incredibly short-sighted. This kind of behaviour almost always backfires.
    • I had some time with him recently at the local neighbourhood forum and actually was pretty impressed by him, I think he's come a long way.
    • I cook at home - almost 95% of what we eat at home is cooked from scratch.  But eating out is more than just having dinner, it is socialising and doing something different. Also, sometimes it is nice to pay someone else to cook and clear up.
    • Yup Juan is amazing (and his partner can't remember her name!). Highly recommend the wine tastings.  Won't be going to the new chain.
