Hello,

We would like to invite you to a special community evening to celebrate the launch of our new STEM Career Book Series!

Our STEM Career books are aimed at young people 9 to 12 years old, inspiring them to learn about STEM and the different career roles in STEM through relatable characters and engaging stories.

We have organised a fun launch event to celebrate the publication of our first two books; Storm Trackers and Lucy Green Robotics Queen, and we would love for you to join us. Children and young people are welcome to attend.

Date: 3 October 2023

Time: 18:00 – 20:30

Location: The Trunk, 1 Bodley Way, London, SE17 1FN (off Heygate Street)

Nearest tube station: Elephant & Castle

The Trunk is next door to Tigers Childcare, the building with the orange signage.

Come along to hear from our students, the authors and the illustrators of the books and learn more about the fantastic work we are doing in the community. There will also be an opportunity to purchase signed copies of the books. Please see the attached invite for more details and feel free to share with family and friends.

To get more children reading about STEM, we have launched our STEM Readers Campaign and would be very grateful for your support. If you know of any schools that would like to receive the books and/or corporates that might be interested in donating copies of the books to schools and libraries please let us know by visiting: https://www.ignitehubs.org.uk/stem-readers-campaign. I have also attached details of the Campaign.

Tickets for the event are free but there are limited spaces so please book as soon as possible by clicking here.

We very much look forward to seeing you there.

If you have any questions please let us know.

Many thanks,

Lin

    • Police won’t be interested as they are to busy investigating hurtful comments people have written on internet and demos which seem to be happening every weekend, well done for reporting tho and giving us the heads up to be careful 👍
    • I had my car ransacked on Wednesday night, I assumed I’d left it unlocked. It was unlocked again this morning though and I definitely locked it last night.   The car was outside my front door and the keys near the door inside so I assume this is a relay theft  issue with someone using a remote key reader. I would advise keeping keys away from the front door. I have reported to police.
    • They plan to close the Mount Pleasant Office, absolute and utter madnesss
