Jeremy
The "proper" pubs in the area are usually empty though... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3327-tivoli-amusements/page/2/#findComment-107456 Share on other sites

KalamityKel
It's not a debatable topic of what it should be. The application is for a wine bar. Simple. david_carnell
Bar layout looks tres trendy - all curves and stuff. Plus I can't work out how you get downstairs.Basement bar might be cool - all depends which market they go for I suppose.Fingers crossed. They'll have competition from those new guys @ Inside 72 though. AcedOut
It's a spiral staircase, but not sure how you get down there now! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3327-tivoli-amusements/page/2/#findComment-107663 Share on other sites

AcedOut
That basement bar is crying out to be a late night club. Note no bar downstairs! I suspect the sofa layout down there is a poor attempt to fool planners into thinking it's not going to be a dance floor. And note the mention of sound proofing on the proposal!I'll be amazed if they get planing to use the rear garden though. Keef
Basement bar, you can just see it rivalling kebab & wine for the classy late night drinkers!I went to kebab & wine for the first time in ages a couple of weeks ago. Made me laugh so much, was on the way to the loo, and this big fella I'd seen around but never said a word to in my life, just handed me a wrap* of coke and said he was off home, and didn't want the wife finding it, so I should take it and enjoy myself. Just couldn't believe how open it all was, I'm sure a couple of years ago people at least pretended to be discreet! :))* when I say wrap, very small lines worth is probably a better desciption Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3327-tivoli-amusements/page/2/#findComment-107847 Share on other sites
