Wynter, the popular three legged Carver Rd cat from Herne Hill SE24 is missing again Pet trac chip No 977200008957717 She’s a pretty petite black & white moggie with a pretty white mask, bib, whiskers and toes. Distinctive feature – she only has three legs. Very friendly but doesn’t like being picked up. Last seen on the late afternoon of Friday 28th March 2025 sitting in her favourite spot at the Herne Hill end of Carver Road. She is well cared for and has a warm and loving home but enjoys sitting on the Carver Road greeting locals and visitors and persuading them to shower her with treats. Well-meaning visitors new to the area, who don’t know Winter, sometimes mistakenly think she has been abandoned, pick her up and take her home or to a vet. It is feared that someone may have taken her again. Her owner is understandably distressed because her loving family miss her. Please share this call for help with all your networks and look out for her. With your support we hope to find her again. If anyone discovers any information about her, please contact her owner Mencie on 07956 823046

Hello, my daughter in Year 8 has dyslexia and some other SEND issues. She is currently attending an all girls' school in Victoria. She is finding the school very stringent and overly punitive. She struggles to stay on top of homework. In fact, we are hopeful that she will receive her EHCP soon. We have heard good things about the Charter in Bermonsey and their SEND provision. Has anybody got experience of the school please? An overly strict environment will not suit her as it makes her anxious. Many thanks for your help. -
