My name is Andrew Lipyeat I am new to the london area due to moving here from Essex a very sort while ago.

* Dealt directly with customers via the telephone and electronically, responding promptly to their inquiries whilst handling and resolving any complaints as appropriate. Ensuring all the relevant information was obtained so that these could be turned around quickly for the customer.


* Customer verifications sought inline with Data Protection and all orders, forms and applications were completed with the customer and direct requests or unresolved issues were transferred, with full explanation, to the correct or designated resource.


* All customer interactions, transactions, inquiries, comments and complaints recorded during and after each call.


* All necessary administration completed post call with appropriate communications being sent to internal departments.


* Where appropriate a follow up call was made to customers to follow up on our interactions.

* Provide information, advice and guidance via the telephone to all clients of Converso.


* Operated an appointment booking system for both existing and new clients, ensuring that all follow up appointments were kept and that the clients were satisfied with service. This involved both inbound and outbound calling.


* Data collection came as part of these calls and I used these to collate a report for my direct line manager and the Senior Management Team. This was done on a daily basis and fed into a larger trend analysis report where it was possible to make recommendations on alternative approaches to improve sales.


* Ensured that the database is kept up to date and in accordance with Converso*s company policies.


* Recognise, document and alert my line manager of any trends in customer calls.


* Made recommendations for process improvements.


* Took on additional duties to help improve my work experience.

    • As a result of the Horizon scandal it now seems very clear that the Post Office management are highly disingenuous and not be trusted!  There needs to be a campaign launched to challenge the threatened closure, unless the Post Office can demonstrate beyond doubt that the branch is loss making - and even then it could argued that better management could address this. I hope the local media take this up and our MP  and a few demonstrations outside wouldn’t do any harm. Bad publicity can be very effective!         
    • Unlikely. It would take a little more than a bit of Milton to alter the pH of eighty-odd thousand gallons of water.
    • It actually feels as though what I said is being analytically analysed word by word, almost letter by better. I really don't believe that I should have to explain myself to the level it seems someone wants me to. Clearly someones been watching way too much Big Brother. 
    • Sadly they don't do the full range of post office services
