Yes, sad news. John died a couple of weeks ago, I was told by a couple of friends yesterday. Nice guy, always helpful. R.I.P John. x

That's very sad news. Condolences to his family.

I bought the flowers for our wedding from him, and he very kindly stored them for us overnight until I could collect them (we did the table arrangements ourselves), as well as giving helpful advice on what would be in season thanks to the weather, and what to use instead when what I wanted wasn't available. He was so helpful.
