TV issue - blank screen but has sound

Need help to identify if it’s something silly or if tv is gone.

Tried all online advice but would like to know for sure.

can anyone help/recommend??

If it's an LCD TV it might be an inverter/backlight problem which may be fixable by replacing or repairing a circuit board.

If you discover that it's a definite fault that needs repairing, these folks may be able to help.  A repair might be less than the cost of a new TV.
