Independent property insurance expert wanted

We are a group of residents in a small block of flats &  dissatisfied with our property insurance brokers and insurers. We have a claim that has is still not settled after over four years. We wish to change to other companies, but until that claim is settled, we are unable to do so. We believe the existing companies are dragging out the claim settlement, while increasing our premiums, knowing we cannot leave them.

 

We are looking for an INDEPENDENT expert who can advise us on our rights and assist us in moving to a new insurer.

 

We do not want a broker who receives a commission from the insurance company.

 

Can anyone recommend an expert in this field?
