Hi,

Please see my bio below:

Hey Mama’s and Papa’s. I’ve been a nanny for 17 years and I have studied with various providers such as CACHE, MNT, Oplex and BabyEm some of the best in the childcare industry. I pride myself on my passion to learn, I always want to bring new ideas to the table to keep the children’s lives exciting - it saddens me to think a child would be bored under my supervision as I’ve been told by an 11 year old “I give good bear hugs and play board games with you when nobody else will!” I’m looking for a role which we can be busy but balanced, get out whatever the wether! Museums, farms..Legoland but also play at home wether that be build a set of Lego or DIY an Amazon box or make cupcakes for granny, I always like to be doing something with the children as they really are learning so much from us and our attitude and actions. I’m looking for a role that is at least 25 hours a week the ideal role . I’m also open to full and part time hours for the right family so please get in touch. As well as being a nanny I’m a maternity nurse and sleep trainer too so I’m fully confident with little ones from minutes old to university old! Anyway I’ll stop waffling - please leave your email and telephone number along with what you are looking for and where you are based! Please bear in mind I’m a confident driver but I can only drive automatic should this be needed.

If you are interested do let me know and we could set up a call?

    • I don't mind getting the ball rolling, but there would have to be more organisers than just me 🤣 I've got more than enough to do already. Also as I often don't recognise faces or remember names, I wouldn't be an ideal person (though in the old days, we had labels with our forum names on, if memory serves)  Sorry admin, I've gone well off topic.
    • There was a brief discussion on the Lounge about the good old days of the Forum and the drinks where people with differing views seemed to get on fine with each other.  Can't find it or I would give you the link @Earl Aelfheah or @Sephiroth I think one of you had said something along these lines.  Yes go for it Sue!
    • Great idea! Yes, I think the SE22 curry club died a death. The restaurants were all much of a muchness at the time anyway, apart from Ganapati. Nyge and I were also recently  discussing whether people would be interested if we restarted  the Forum Drinks. They used to be fun, but I think the main organiser moved out of the area, as did some others,  and nobody else was very keen on taking it on.  Unless they are still happening covertly 🤣 If memory serves they were monthly, and in a different pub each time. It was good to be able to meet people in real life who post on the forum. I might start a separate thread at some point to see if anyone would be interested.
