School tour tomorrow at 9,15am, all welcome!

Enter through the school gates on Tintagel Crescent and go to the school office. Please try to be on time as the tour sets off very sharpish. This is a great chance to meet the headteacher, have a look round the school and then join the PTA afterwards, we will be in the onsite breakfast/afterschool club annexe with cups of tea and coffee and maybe even a biscuit.

See you there!

Parents/carers whose children are starting in September are more than welcome to attend the tour (indeed encouraged!) but it is not exclusively for them. There are meet the teacher sessions planned for later this month when you will also have the opportunity to sign up for stay and play sessions for your new reception starter to come and have a taste of the reception classroom whilst you tearfully clutch a cup of tea nearby. Attendance at those are strongly recommended, if you haven't had the details of the meet the teacher sessions then contact the school for details (my understanding is that the dates of the stay and plays are arranged at the meet the teacher sessions)

The tour is for and parent or carer looking for a school place for their child whether that be in the near or distant future, for reception or the upper years.

We look forward to seeing you there

GGPTA

It's the general school tour, primarily for people deciding where to apply for their kids next year but if your child is starting this September and you want to have another look around you are welcome to come along. There will be a meeting at the school later on before school breaks up for parents with children entering reception this coming September.

    • Yes, it would be great to see them nationalised. Along with the other water companies they seem to have a great business model: -submit a 5 year plan to the regulator asking for yearly price increases to cover the cost of improving the infrastructure and get them to approve it - carry on paying handsome dividends to shareholders and eye watering salaries to senior executives  - fail to achieve the infrastructure targets at the end of the five years, make some excuses and draw up the next plan Magic!
    • Avoid KFH. Agree with other comments that it is best to talk to lots of people.  Also, (not particularly related to the above agent), I wish I had read the reviews a lot more, rather than relying on numbers.  Depending on whether you are renting, letting, selling or buying the reviews often differ a lot depending on the relationship you have with the agent and it is worth checking whether the good/bad reviews match your situation.
