Hi all, I’m an experienced professional tutor who specialises in sciences up to A-Level, and have also helped students through several medical application cycles!

If a student needs help with writing a personal statement, understanding the UCAT, picking medical schools, demystifying the application process as a whole, or just having someone to check in with and hold them accountable, I’d love to help out. I also have experience applying for post-grad medicine (I’m starting study this September!) so would be very happy to help students applying at this stage too.

  Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.

  Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
