Recommendations for coastal summer holiday outside of UK

Hi all, 

We’re searching for a holiday destination - somewhere that we can be based for the duration without needing to rely on a car. 
Wondering if anyone has any recs please?

We have 12&14 year old boys, would love a coastal resort - cliff jumping nearby, beach activities, shops and restaurants/bars within walking distance. We’ve been to Javea (Costa Blanca) and loved it, so looking for something similar. Would be grateful for any suggestions…

The Algarve is a good option. Lagos is very beautiful with massive beaches and very intimate ones with plenty to do.
