New Polish Restaurant Brilliant

We went to the new Polish restaurant on Dartmouth Road near Forest Hill Pools.

It?s called Edyta?s and the food was FANTASTIC! It doesn?t look like much from outside but we?d heard good things and decided to give it a try. We had fried dumplings, a big lamb, some unusual chicken pie which was made with pancakes rather than pastry, they even turned a standard grilled veg side into a to-die-for dish.

Portions were big, service impeccable and it only came to ?27 for 3 of us with mains and sides, we couldn?t believe it.

It?s BYOB and well worth a visit. We?re going back next week!

  Jazzer appears to have correctly deduced the origin of my username. It’s from a long running Japanese RPG series I used to be seanmacgabhann then straferjack now sephiroth but what - and I mean this well - the f*** does this have to do with anything im going to suggest, like everything in jazzer’s life, it has no connection with anything but he continues to pluck at random strings to try and connect to… oh I dunno

  39 Grove Vale SE22 8EQ 0208 693 9749 It's on the other side of the road from ED station, on the left as you go from the station towards Goose Green (or on the right as you head towards the station from Goose Green). See the photo someone posted above! I don't think they have a website - it's a small place - but their Instagram according to their menu is @chernthai though I haven't checked it out yet. They are closed on Tuesdays, otherwise open 12-3 and 5-9 or 10. I think that varies at weekends.
