Free Water Kefir Grains for Fermentation

Recommended Posts

Free water kefir grains for anyone interested in fermenting and kefir.

These grains are not for dairy kefir. Water kefir is a really delicious soda - you can make any flavours you want and just need water and sugar along with grains to start off with. It's a really nice probiotic soda (I've been making my own lemonade, limeade, strawberry soda) and a really good alternative in the summer to alcohol.

My grains are multiplying and I can't keep up with the amount of soda (happy place to be in!), so I am happy to give for free to a happy fermenter.

I've got about 100g to give away.

20g makes about 1/2 litre so that's the perfect start. I can give it you in a small jar to transport home.

You can have more if you want to ferment higher quantities!

If you have anything you'd like to swap I'm always up for new ferments but otherwise these are free - sharing the fermentation love! ☺️

    • Had this problem a few years back.  I can hear high-pitched sounds easily.  I can't find my original post, but it was likely a faulty boiler cycling on and off as they do. It stopped not long after I posted!  Quick search on here pulled up lots of posts about similar.  https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/search/?q=boiler noise&quick=1
    • Do you think this is an illegal eviction and that the documents are not in order? You can get advice from Citizen's Advice or Shelter as well.  There is also a lot of advice on line - i.e. what the documents need to include for the landlord to evict the tenant.
    • Hello all, I am urgently looking for a solicitor who works in housing. I'd like to help my neighbours who have been waiting for a council flat for seven years. The council has forced them to rent privately and now the agency has send the eviction letter without any explanation. When they arrived in the UK they stayed in a flat for three months until they got evicted because the landlord wanted to sell. So this is the second time in seven years they have to find something else. They are a couple with two children. If you have recommendations for a good solicitor I'd be very grateful. They are very worried and don't speak English well enough to defend themselves. Thanks for your help!
