Nikolay of NN Floor Sanding has just patched some reclaimed floorboards into my existing floor.  Involved a mixture of substrata - wooden joists and concrete - and was a tricky job.  Excellent work which looks fantastic, and it is impossible now to tell which are the new and which the old floorboards.  Nikolay is reliable, diligent and skilled, and does everything with a smile.  I'd strongly recommend him for any wood flooring projects.

Would second this review and recommendation! we got nikolay in to restore the floor in our home office and we’re blown away by the results. He’s a true professional - conscientious, prompt, friendly and immaculate, as well as budget conscious. We’ll be using him again - and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

I have just had Nikolay prepare, sand, fill and varnish all the wooden floors in our house.  He was keen to talk through the job and our wishes for the finished effect, he had positive suggestions / options regarding budget and finished effect.

Nikolay and his team were very professional - knowledgeable, caring of our property, tidy and a pleasure to have around.  He kept to time and communicated well throughout the job.

I would have no hesitation about recommending him to anyone looking for floor sanding.

We recently had our wooden floors sanded, filled, and varnished by Nikolay, and we’re really pleased with the results. He was professional, efficient, and took the time to explain our options and the finish we wanted.

Nikolay was a pleasure to have around—knowledgeable, respectful of our home, tidy, and on schedule. He communicated well throughout, and the final result looks fantastic.

We’d highly recommend him to anyone needing floor sanding.

    • I was at both meetings. Frankly I think there's little point to them. Gala's licence was granted in perpetuity, they make all the right noises but they are totally disinterested in the problems and damage they inflict. The map fails to include the area of park which will be set aside for a Lime bike parking area which is to be expanded this year and the area used for the Park run start/finish is within the new expanded footprint. They said there were no plans to cut down any trees BUT one has been felled near the pedestrian gate in Colyton road which would obstruct the proposed HGV track. A replacement has been planted a few metres away but that doesn't excuse cutting down a beautiful established tree. Agree that the ecological survey is utterly worthless as are a lot of other statements in the consultation documents. The 21 day timeframe doesn't include loss of space due to remedial works or the fencing off for reseeded grass to grow...which is destroyed again less than a year later. The bund and meadow planting will be inside the boundary fencing. I doubt it will survive unscathed. .
