Pedestrian crossing out of service last night again. I got off bus behind a blind man when I came back out a good 10 minutes later from the Co-op he was still stood there waiting for the signal. I took him across, he mentioned that the frequency with which is happens is "terryfying".

I do wonder what kind of priority this has with Southwark Council who must surely be liable for some kind of legal negligence claim were someone to get injured or worse.

I phoned southwark yesterday to report this fault and was put through to tfl.. Spoke to someone in their street works team and reported the fault, apparently their engineers were going to be told straight away..

I hope the contractor who installed the lights is got back to fix them at no cost to taxpayer.. Seeing as they've just been put in its not acceptable that they're broken already.

    • Dear all, Bit of a random ask but in such a supportive and accepting community, I thought I'd see if anyone had time to help 🙂 I'm conducting research for my MSc Psychology dissertation, using a brief anonymous survey to explore attitudes towards intimate and non-monogamous relationships and how/if this interacts with factors such a family history and family making. The survey should take no longer than 10 mins and has been approved by the University of Roehampton. I'm hoping to circulate the survey widely enough that the data gathered is representational of the diversity in modern society across various aspects that constitutes personal identity. Some of the questions are of a personal nature and although could be considered a bit 'spicy', so just to reiterate, this is an anonymous survey. • Not being paying any attention but think most Co provide SIM   small or larger  - comes as standard. Have heard good things about Lebara - all on line, not tested yet, but almost there.  Arrives 24/48 hours, SIM arrives - really cheap like £6 per month.. but like as mentioned , have to use maybe once a month - others can help more than I
    • Why don’t you ask park people? Or do they not exist any more - use tobe in FR Building— left hand side as you enter, past toilets
    • It is a question, easy to understand, and you have quoted the OP words wrongly. How strange.
