simonsprague
I am looking for a clock repairer to carry out a repair as detailed below. If anyone has a recommendation of a reliable repairer, I would be most grateful.Brief details of the repair:I have an Ansonia striking clock in need of some attention. I don't think it's particularly valuable but it has huge sentimental value as it belonged to my grandmother. It was working until fairly recently, so I think it only needs a tune-up. The glass bezel also needs to be reattached. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/32601-reliable-clock-repairer/ Share on other sites
glitzydebs
Hello the chap in the east dulwich indoor market may be able to help. I used him before for a smaller job which he was happy to talk through and price. He's there Saturdays and Wednesdays. Huggers
the guy in the east dulwich market has fixed my grandmother's victorian fob watch for me, it was very tricky and after a service then needed an additional part that was hard to get but which he got.I have also been told- by the woman in northcross road market who trades watch chains on a saturday-that there is a brilliant chinese watchmaker inside the Rye Lane indoor market who she uses for her antique pieces-the one that houses the pizza place.
