Recently my 14 year old really enjoyed an afternoon at the Barbican. There were quite a lot of young people (perhaps students) hanging out in the open plan areas ground and first floor (some practicing for a play which she found very cool) and the amazing library well populated with all ages reading, studying, browsing the shelves etc.
White Water Rafting in Lee Valley (the artificial Olympic course) is fun for visitors. Tate Modern? Escape Room? Borrow a bicycle and cycle around the canals in Hackney? Movie at iMax? Some events might be on - e.g. at Ally Pally, or Southbank. Thorpe Park? War of the Worlds VR experience?
How about Southbank? take in the Globe, Tate Modern, Golden Hind, if you can get them to visit HMS Belfast it's great even if they don't think it's their thing. then past BFI and National Theatre, and the skateboard area, then lots of great places to eat along there.

My teen likes to do the Escape Rooms .

Southbank always good for walk down, buskers, Tate, Globe etc. You can also go up the Oxo tower if you are feeling rich, have a cocktail (or mocktail) and watch the sun set over the Thames.

Old Vic has Sylvia playing if you feel like some theatre, or go and see the movie Rye lane at Peckham Plex for a good overview of our neighbourhood.

Shoreditch / Brick Lane - easy to get to and lots of shopping and browsing options. I always love the flower market as well.

Take the boat as well on the Thames - its a lovely way to see London as well.

Greenwich a good option for something nearer - loads to do there

    • All the parents looking after their kids instead of skiving from their meaningless desk jobs might mean it's quieter on here. Still, at least it gives free rein to the bad-tempered, long-winded pensioners that begin their posts "having resided in Dulwich for a not inconsiderable number of decades, may I be so bold as to suggest..." 😉
    • I miss that cyclist chap that comments on everything
    • We have been patients at Sternhall Lane for years. Our experience has generally been incredibly positive with speedy responses and very helpful staff. We are generally fortunate to get a same day appointment should we really need one either at Sternhall Lane or at Tessa Jowell and any necessary referalls have been swift.
    • @Alice if left might have been stolen/taken by someone (peed on by a dog or fox), also there are some little things attached of - I assume - sentimental value. I hope the owner can claim them. Will leave a note indeed with info how to retrieve them, though not with a private phone number in a public space 😅 Maybe a friend of a friend will come across this post on EDF.  @embob97 They do have a ring, sorry.
