IMG-20230322-WA0025.jpg.86aa57c5f1f0518ea745e0849f61ab8a.jpgI've upgraded my coffee set up and up for sale is my old kit. Still works great and perfect for anyone who is getting into pour over and specialty coffee.

Bodum bistro pour over flask - a cheaper chemex (that's what I've upgraded to). Includes a pour over flask, with a reusable fine mesh net. If you prefer paper filters, it's exactly the same width as a chemex and you can use those filter with it too. It has a visible crack, but there are no leaks, I've been using it for at least 6 months like this. It formed from the ice whilst making an ice coffee during the summer.

£20 (paid £38)

Dualit EL60 electric burr coffee grinder - electric burr coffee grinder from Dualit. This model is extremely popular as an affordable entry level grinder. You can adjust the grind size by clicking the hopper and can grind 250g in one go (although it's much better to grind it fresh daily). Few minor cosmetic marks but works perfectly.

£35 (paid £85)

Hario style stovetop gooseneck kettle - with a built in thermometer. Much cheaper than an electric kettle but still giving you the control of a gooseneck. I used to boil water in my normal kettle and transfer to this. Now upgraded to an electric one.

£10 (paid £20)

Generic hand grinder - ceramic burr hand grinder. Adjustable grind size.

£10 (paid £20)

Collection from se23.

    • None of that makes any sense. Rumour and vibes-based governance...   Meanwhile, thanks in part to the NIMBY tendencies of certain councillors, 23 London council areas saw 0 (zero) new housing units under construction in Q1 2024. Pitiful. About 724,000 (net) people moved to the UK in 2024, a sizeable chunk of them to London. The already high demand for housing is increasing, and the supply isn't changing at all. Rent prices (and therefore taxpayer funds paid to private landlords through Housing Benefit) are going up...and new housing units are objected to because they're "visible" and because a fear that rich foreign students will live there.
    • Lots of hoverflies (that look like drone honeybees) about today. Also, tiny (< .5cm) bees/wasps
    • Posting for friend. Both missing since Thursday eve. Last seen in back garden on Soames Street, their garden backs onto gardens in bellenden road, avondale rise and copleston road. Gladys went missing a month or so ago and I know she was chased by a large black and white cat and again he is back in my garden and now both my cats missing. They are both chipped and neutered. No collars.  Thank you.
    • Hope not, as need to put swift box back up.  Sadly I was away and one of my tadpoles nurseries died, presumably from stagnant water.  I have others and will take more care.
