Hi, I'm currently a first year medical student studying at Barts and the London (Queen Mary University of London). I took Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Geography at A-Level and achieved AAAA* grades respectively, and would be able to tutor any of these subjects at A-level or GCSE level. At GCSE I achieved nine 9's and two 8's so I would be open to tutoring core GCSE subjects (English language and literature, maths and science) and would also be open to 11+ tuition.

I received 2 interviews when applying for medicine last year on my first try and would also be available to help practise for interviews, read through personal statements, and any other medical school application help.

I charge £30 an hour and would be available for either in-person tutoring in London or online tutoring on weekdays after 6pm, and would also be available all-day on weekends. I would be able to start right away. Please do reply to this message if you are interested or have any questions! Do feel free to share this message with anyone you may know who is interested in tutoring.

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
